Hope Isn’t Cancelled

Right now, we live in a world that is full of unknown. People long for interaction, and wonder what the next hour might look like. Communities Helping Improve Local Lives, better known as CHILL, is offering encouragement that Hope isn’t cancelled.

Although the group is unable to meet in person, that won’t stop CHILL from spreading their mission and voice throughout the community. Throughout the week, members and adult leaders created roughly 25 signs to be placed around Sovah, Martinsville Police Department, and Henry County Sheriff’s Office. The adult Coordinators drove to the homes of members and picked the signs up from their porches, to minimize exposure and ensure that regulations were being followed.

The point of this project was to encourage CHILL members that they still have the ability to impact their community in meaningful ways. And the message to our community is that they are loved, cared for, and no one has to fight alone.

If you are riding by, be sure to snap a picture and tag CHILL MHC & Piedmont Community Services on Facebook or Instagram. We would love to know that you were encouraged!

A huge thank you to the Martinsville Lowe’s Home Improvement store for donating supplies.
